Adobe site compromised – Oct 3 – source code and credit card numbers obtained
For those of you running Cold Fusion code or who have previously made purchases via the Adobe site, as of Thursday, October 3, Adobe announced that their network has been compromised. In addition to source code for a number of Adobe products having been stolen, Adobe also indicated that approximately 2.9 million credit card numbers stored on the Adobe site were expected to have been obtained by the attackers. Adobe has indicated that the credit card numbers were encrypted.
